01

Use your own ČSSZ record

Public old-age pension depends on retirement age and the required insurance record. ČSSZ's Informativní důchodová aplikace (IDA) helps you inspect those records and obtain an informative estimate. This site does not calculate entitlement from earnings or insurance years; it uses the monthly amount you enter.

02

Supplementary savings can pay income

Doplňkové penzijní spoření is separate from the public pension. A pension company can explain your payout options and conditions. Enter a regular net payment only when you have a usable estimate and payment period. Do not also count the capital funding it as accessible savings.

03

Two different ways of leaving work early

Předdůchod is funded from supplementary pension savings, while předčasný starobní důchod is an early public pension with its own rules and reductions. Moving an age field does not establish either right. Get a suitable provider or ČSSZ estimate for the route you are considering, then test the spending gap.

Using the calculator

  1. Check your ČSSZ record and obtain a forecast for your intended pension date.
  2. Ask your pension company for the amount and duration of any supplementary payment. Keep its capital separate from accessible savings.
  3. Enter net monthly amounts in today's koruna, choose a spending budget and compare the years before and after public pension starts.
