Retirement Atlas · Publishing information
Resources for publishers
Retirement Atlas offers free calculators and reproducible examples for readers exploring pension income and retirement spending. The tools work without registration.
Start with a concrete example
- A £300,000 UK pension: three withdrawal amounts — shows the difference between gross withdrawals and income after estimated tax.
- A$500,000 in Australian super: income through age 95 — includes return sensitivity and a first-year spending budget before personal tax.
- A two-year UK bridge before an entered State Pension starts — distinguishes today's available capital from future payments.
- Planning to age 85 or 95 in Australia — compares four horizons with the same starting balance.
What readers can do
Change assumptions, compare a spending target with a modelled budget, inspect the first twelve months and prepare a CSV or printout. Personal inputs are calculated locally and are not uploaded or embedded in sharing links.
Scope to keep alongside a link
The UK tool estimates standard 2026/27 income tax; the Australian retirement results are before personal tax and omit minimum drawdowns. European tools use manually entered after-tax pension income. All use steady-return assumptions, not probability forecasts, and none determine government pension eligibility.
For an introduction, you could write:
Retirement Atlas is a free retirement scenario calculator with visible assumptions and a twelve-month budget. Results depend on your inputs and the model's exclusions; they are not a pension entitlement decision or personal financial advice.
Linking and editorial independence
Link directly to the relevant example or country calculator. Ordinary links work without an account or tracking parameters. The tools are intended to open on their own page; an embedded widget is not currently provided.
References to official services do not imply their endorsement. We do not offer payment or reciprocal links for coverage, and publishers should make their own editorial assessment. Please retain material limitations when discussing an example.
Independent review
We welcome corrections and proposals to review the UK and Australian examples. The review brief lists the pages, financial boundaries and evidence required before a review can be recorded.
