Independent review brief
We are seeking a qualified, independent assessment of our UK and Australian worked examples. This page states the proposed scope so reviewers and readers can see what an assessment would cover.
Current status
No independent financial or native-language review has been completed. The existing checks are AI-assisted source checks and software tests. Preparing this brief, contacting a reviewer or receiving a quote does not constitute a review or approval.
United Kingdom: three worked examples
- How long will a £300,000 pension last?
- Tax-free cash and drawdown
- Funding the gap before an entered State Pension starts
Review the 2026/27 standard income-tax illustration for England, Wales and Northern Ireland; gross withdrawals versus net spending; the separation of upfront cash from the invested pot; and the limitations around phased tax-free withdrawals, pension access, State Pension entitlement and deferral. The examples hold tax thresholds fixed in future years. They do not claim to predict future tax policy.
Australia: three worked examples
- Income from A$500,000 in super
- Retiring before an entered Age Pension starts
- Planning to age 85, 95 or 100
Review today's-dollar figures, percentage and fixed fees, the tax basis of entered returns, super access and the distinctions between capital withdrawals, spending and income products. Confirm that exclusions of personal tax, minimum drawdowns, account-phase tax changes and changing Age Pension means-test outcomes are clear enough for readers.
Calculation and language checks
Reproduce the linked public scenarios, compare at least one result independently and flag misleading comparisons. In retirement-age tables the same balance is available at each starting date; working longer does not add earnings, contributions or accumulation returns. Government pension amounts are invented manual inputs. Sensitivity tables use constant returns and do not estimate success probabilities or sequence-of-returns risk.
Check local terminology, headings, rounding and the distinction between the fixed-withdrawal projection and the separately solved twelve-month budget. A review of these English examples would not certify our other languages or country models. The methodology and budget method describe the calculation scope.
What a review record should contain
A useful assessment identifies the reviewer and relevant qualifications or experience, the exact pages and version reviewed, the review date, findings with supporting sources, suggested corrections and any unresolved limits. We request permission before publishing a reviewer's name or credentials. Corrections need a final check before the relevant pages are described as reviewed. We would disclose a paid review and retain the reviewer's editorial independence.
This request does not seek a product recommendation, a personal financial plan, guaranteed approval or a backlink. A review of specified educational content must not be presented as regulatory approval of the whole site.
