What can this calculator estimate?

It compares spending, manually entered pensions and accessible savings in ARS, in today's purchasing power.

Use your own after-tax pension estimate. Read the full example

01

Check the institution holding your contributions

ANSES's Historia Laboral shows recorded contributions, and its guidance notes that some work may be covered by another pension fund. Establish which institution handles your record and obtain a relevant estimate. This model does not assess service requirements or special regimes.

02

Use one purchasing-power date

Do not mix an old nominal benefit quote with a current spending budget. Express both in pesos of the same date. The projection assumes constant real pension payments; that assumption is a planning simplification, not a forecast of benefit adjustments.

03

Separate currency risk from retirement arithmetic

Foreign-currency savings require a consistent conversion before using an ARS budget. This tool does not supply exchange rates, forecast devaluation or model capital restrictions. Large nominal balances are supported, but a long steady-return projection still has substantial limitations.

Using the calculator

  1. Verify contribution records and the pension institution relevant to your career.
  2. Put pension, spending and savings on the same date and ARS basis.
  3. Test a lower real pension amount instead of assuming all payments always track prices.
  4. Use today's purchasing power for every amount. Compare more than one return, spending target and planning horizon.
